Hi BingoBill

I'm glad some progress has been made. Let's hope it's not long before you have an appeal date.

DWP contacted me, offering a revised award. They said I could still appeal the revised offer, even if I accepted it.

I had the same situation. i rejected the revised offer, but interestingly i dont recall them advising i could still appeal even after accepting '

Can someone explain this ? does the claimant have to submit a fresh appeal on the new decision or original appeal rolls on regardless ?? so confused

Hi BingoBill, they tried this on with me, with a phonecall out of the blue.

The woman tried to cut a deal saying if they upped the daily living would I accept the standard mobility? Although shaking with nerves at the unexpected personal contact, I managed to hold my cool , knowing that my mobility was probably the easiest to justify the enhanced award for, and told her I would carry on with my appeal. I would not accept the "offer." Within a couple of days I had notice they had caved in and awarded me enhanced on both.
So I didn't even have to go through the actual appeal. Having twice been to our daughter's Appeal hearings I was glad of that!
I hope you are successful too.
