ESA in the support group was created by Jgaz
  			 				Hi

Thanks to your guides and advice I have been placed in the support group till Jan 2016.
I wish I had found and subscribed to the site quicker as the advice may have helped with my PIP claim. (I missed by 2 points).

I am appealing the PIP claim and was wondering if it would be worthwhile getting a copy of the ESA assessment, which was done by a Doctor.. My PIP assessment was done by a nurse .

Would the ESA assessment information be useful as evidence at a tribunal ?

Thanks for your help.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

In principle there would be no issue with you doing this, but for it to have any weight you would need to show that it has relevance to your PIP claim, there are only a few areas where PIP and ESA directly overlap.

You should be able to request the ESA report by phoning the DWP office that dealt with your claim and asking for your ESA85 if you have an assessment or the ESA85A if you di not, we recommend following up the request in writing.

I'll request it and let you know how I get on and get more advise if I need it.
