wow, ESA today

having been getting SDA for many years i worried last month when told that i would have to apply for ESA, i fully expected to have to attend a medical, and then to appeal after they stopped all payments, so i signed up for help on how to word my problems in a way that would help while at no time over-stating my problems

so imagine my surprise today when i got a phone call from DWP stating that i had been placed in the WRG for 2 years- alright not perfect as i know i can not work each and every day, my body just won't take it, but at least no medical, i did question the WRG with the nice lady, and she did then explain how i could appeal if i wanted once i had their letter confirming

well imagine my surprise when an hour later they phoned back once again, i expected it to be an error and someone making the same phone call, but no same lady, aplogising every so much, as the information she had given me was wrong! and that i have been placed in the support group!!!

i can't thank you enough, you guides are great, and really made me think and be honest with myself and the form about problems i have that are embarrassing

confirmation letter has just arrived and confirms i am in the support group

it did appear from what the lady said that a copy of a letter that i included from my doctors regarding my OU exam arrangments made a big difference to not having to have a medical
