hi all
I went for a pip assessment on the 10 aug 2013 I have never been on dla I phoned capita up 3 mths later to be told not to worry its in its final stages twice I have phoned them up in the last month to be told the same think in the assessment they told me 2 to3 weeks is this normal is there anyone else out there that as at to wait this long, the other thing is in capitas instruction booklet they promise to answer the phone within 30 seconds every time I have phoned them its allways 20 minutes lol I would be very happy to have some feedback on this matter

There seem to have been significant problems in the start up of the PIP benefit, ATOS appear to have almost totally failed to fulfil their contractual obligations to the DWP and Capita appear to be running at a snails pace, additional auditing by the DWP of the first traunch of claimants has caused further delay.
You options are to complain to Capita and the DWP and to contact your MP, but I doubt that any of these options will result in your claim being speeded up in the short term.
