Should I be concerned was created by emmandelo
Hi, I currently receive DLA at higher rate and am in the support group ESA. My wife gets carers allowance for her elderly father who was living with us. He has passed away recently so her carers allowance for him will stop. She can now apply for CA for me. I am in an area where it's likely i will not get reviewed for PIP until 2015.

My question is this. If my wife now applys for CA for me is that likely to trigger a review for my DLA or ESA and if so will it be with a view to going on PIP?

Hi e,

The fact that your wife is applying for CA as your carer should not initiate a review of your DLA or ESA awards.
