I should add that the specialist I saw used to work in my area but now works in a different area and will not accept NHS referrals outside his area which is why I have had to pay privately. There is no treatment for ME/CFS but I saw him to have the diagnosis confirmed as the DWP and ATOS think that, if your GP hasn't referred you to a specialist, you can't be very ill. They won't accept that there are no specialists ion some areas. After my most recent visit the specialist wrote a report for the tribunal saying that all treatment options have been exhausted and there is nothing more that can be done.

I phoned today and was told I probably couldn't claim for this but the woman to whom I spoke said she would ask someone else and get them to call me back. No-one called me back.
