Hi all
Just wondering what will happen as I am iro Incapacity Benefit and DLA high rate both components.
My Incap was awarded 5 years ago with a date for reassessment Oct 2013, will DWP send a ESA claim form to me?

Unfortunately, we have no idea whether the transfer process is running to time, delays that the members are experiencing suggest that it is running behind, however, the DWP only print limited statistics on the transfer, so there is no way of confirming this.

Hiya,
My IB was written not to be reviewed within12 years which took me up to September 2015.
It also stated on a follow up letter it had been advised no further IB assessments necessary until I reached retirement age. (then it would have been 60 ,now 66).
My first ESA50 arrived Oct 2011.
So in effect the IB and reviews in a way are reviewed for ESA conversion on a 'if your name comes out of a hat system' .
( First ESA 2011 put me in WRAG, on recon placed in SG for 2 years. 2nd ESA Oct 2013 placed in SG for 3 years)
I understand all IB to be assessed for ESA by early 2014.

Thanks for sharing your experience pcm
.
Just to pick up on two points -
Firstly, everyone on IB will be assessed for ESA migration, even if their IB was not due to be reassessed (for example, due to retirement, as in your case).
Secondly, migration to ESA is supposed to be completed by spring 2014 but, surprise surprise, DWP are rather behind with the process.
