ESA Tribunal due in a few days time was created by Raymondo
Good afternoon I am new here, I am my wife's carer and representative. She has mental problems and chronic learning difficulties. Could you tell me which members guide(s) you think I should download and do you have any tips or advice.
We went to a tribunal for IB two years ago which was won
Thanks

Hello Raymondo and welcome,
This will help you to find your way around the site
Welcome to Benefits and Work
With only 2 days to go, I'm afraid that you have a lot of reading to get through!
I don't know whether your wife is appealing a 'fit for work' decision or whether she is appealing for Support Group from WRAG. Either way, you should decide which descriptors apply to your wife and show that.
Qualifying for the WRAG
Qualifying for the Support Group
The ESA guide for people with mental health problems is the one you need
ESA claims and appeals
If you take any extra paperwork with you to the appeal, you should make sure there are 4 copies - one for you, one for each member of the panel and one for the clerk. Read our appeal FAQs for further advice
Appeal FAQs
Your wife will be the best evidence you have. The panel will want to talk to her and ask questions about how she is affected by her problems. You will be allowed to speak afterwards if necessary.
