I think you need to get face to face advice before starting any work.
Your appeal will be looking at your condition as it was at the time that you were previously assessed, so your working will have not impact on this.
However, you are not allowed to be in Remunerative Work and receive ESA, so there is a possibility that you win your appeal to be placed in the SG, but then have your claim closed because you are working.
So speak to a trained advisor to see whether there is any way around this Catch-22.
