PIP Capital Home Assessment

Hi

I have received a letter after submitting my PIP application from Capita, saying they are coming to do a home assessment. I heard that they only do home assessments on severe cases, so was surprised to hear they will be coming home.

I wanted to know what is covered and what you are required to do, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi W,

We have very little feed back regarding PIP Home Assessments. You are out first member to be undergoing one of these, as far as I am aware.

As you will see from the FAQ below, we envisage that it could be similar to an ESA F2F, but can't be sure.

Will personal independence payment (PIP) medical assessments be the same as employment and support allowance (ESA) medical assessments?
