It has taken about four weeks to fill in altogether, but I took your advice and started to fill in the online version with my partner two weeks before it was due to be sent out, to get ahead start and I have been able to do a bit at time.
If there is anything else before Monday I will come back to the website if it ok.
I done everything I can now, its all still the last thing on my mind at night and first thing in the mornings,
Thank you for your help and advice anyway, it has been very helpful and reassuring to know that there has been someone to ask for advice. I don't know what I would have done without B and W. Thanks.

You are most welcome n, :)

Sometimes it helps if you can get someone else who is also aware of the limitations suffered to have a read through it, they may spot something that you have failed to address.

Failing that, please do pose any further queries that you may have, and do keep us updated.

Hi, I have posted off ESA questionnaire today.
Have you any ideas of how long people are waiting for a reply in my area please.
Its bad enough filling the questionnaire in and gathering all the evidence you can but I dread all the anxiety and worrying about the outcome :(
I think that I will start reading up on appeals guide now and get ahead start.
I will keep you updated, thanks.

Hi n,

It is impossible to give any useful guidance on how long it may be before you hear anything.

There are far too many variables.

Once you are happy that ATOS have received the ESA50, the ball is firmly in their court, I'm afraid.

Hello, I posted ESA50 reassessment last week to Atos.
I have already telephoned them twice at the end of last week to find out anything, they have received my questionnaire and evidence, they said first time it was going through the system.
The second time I telephoned Atos said it is with scrutiny.
My question is, are scrutiny the HCPs or someone else.
I feel like I want to constantly telephone them to find out things, I cannot help feeling this because of my chronic anxiety. I know that it takes as long as it takes but I am very stressed about it.
Do you think that I could get in to trouble for telephoning like this ?
Thank you.

Hi n,

As they have received the ESA50 the ball is in their court.

I would be wary of ringing up too much, as it could be classed as being a nuisance or vexatious.

On the other hand, it does confirm your chronic anxiety.

If it has gone to scrutiny, at least it is being actioned rather than lying in a pending pile of ESA50's.

You should also take into account that this time of the year will be the peak time for ATOS and DWP staff taking holidays.

Hi Bro, thanks for your rapid response, as usual :)
I will try to avoid phoning up.
I will keep reading the forum on B and W and come back to keep you in touch with things.
Thank you, again.
