I have just returned from the appeal court and been put into the support group. Will this be means tested when my contribution time expires. Lindy.

Hi Ll,
Congratulations on being placed into The SG at appeal, that's great news
I don't know which award of ESA you were appealing, but this Tribunal decision will now re-make that adverse award.
Therefore, you will be entitled to any arrears of back pay owed from the date of the adverse decision that you appealed.
It will be as if you have been in The SG since that date.
To speed the process up, you could post a copy of The Tribunal's Decision Notice, when you get it, to The Benefits Office dealing with your ESA :
Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS
There is no 365 day limit to payment of CB ESA whilst you are in The SG, and for as long as you remain in The SG.
Further you can no longer be compelled to take part in WFI's or WRA, you can do so voluntarily.
12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)
