I am currently awaiting an appeal date re being deemed fit for work. I have received a letter stating from June 29th my 365 days ESA eligibility will be up and from that date I will be required to sign on for job seekers allowance. How can I sign on for work I am unfit and appeal to say any different has not gone through yet. Should I contact dwp to enquire about eligibility for income based ESA I live on my own with no assets other than a small pension of £45 a week. Not once in the letter does it mention the appeal
Hi, from what I can make out, you were refused ESA and are now getting the assessment rate while you await appeal, is that correct? If you think that you should get income-related ESA, you should ask for an ESA3 form to fill in, this will take details of your income and assets and allow you to get IR ESA if entitled. I don't think that this form can be downloaded or completed online.
