 	 				so pleased was created by cw12			
  			 				I got my letter with good news at last.  sent esa migration form in December and on Friday got good news that am in income related support group with no medical.  so happy, thankyou for guides and advice.  how do I find out how long the award is for as letter doent tell me this, just says will begin in march, thanks.

The decision letters do not say how long you have been given the award for - this is because ESA is an open-ended benefit, not a fixed length like DLA.
 
You can do several things at this stage. This ranges from phoning and asking for the 'prognosis' (whcih gives an idea of when to expect reassessment ) through requesting the ESA 85 (f you had a face-to-face assessment) or ESA85A (if you were not assessed face-to-face) right up to making a 'Subject access request' for all the paperwork associated with your claim
