  			 				Hi all,

Got my award notice today and have been placed in Contribution Based ESA (Support Group) this was in no small part to the helpful guides off B & W, many thank's.

Strangely though it does not give a length of time the award is for AND with the Award Letter was a form ESA3 10/12 telling me I may be able to claim ESA at the Income Related rate, Has anybody heard of this situation arising for them?

Regards

Congratulations on the award and thank you for your comments regarding B&W.

You may be able get you re-assessment date by phoning the DWP office that deals with your claim, failing that, request the ESA85 if you had an assessment or the ESA85A if you did not, the prognosis is usually used to set this date.

As you are in the Support Group, then you could be eligible for the Enhanced Disability Premium, if you are also eligible for an ESA(IR) top-up to your ESA(CB), this form looks at your income, savings and assets and any hours that your partner works.

ESA(IR) passports you to a number of other benefits, so it may be worth you looking at this, as always, we would advise you to get face to face advice from someone who can look at your finances in detail, before making a decision.
