ESA decision was created by mandy76
I wanted to let you know that today I received a decision on my IB to ESA migration claim. I am overjoyed to say that I have been placed in the support group. I did not require a face-to-face assessment and it took them just under a month to notify the decision.

The decision notice does not give any indication in terms of when I might be reviewed. Would you please advise me as to what forms/information I should request from the DWP so I can get an idea of what descriptors and points applied to me and/or whether the support group was met under regs 29/35 (substaintial risk).

I want to express my sincere thanks for the excellent guides on this site. I followed the advice on this site to the letter. :cheer:

Congratulations on the award and thanks for your comments on the guides.

The prognosis in the ESA85 if you had an assessment or the ESA85A if you did not is usually used to set the re-assessment date, there may also be an ESA72 which should specifically state the date. Both of these can be requested over the phone from the DWP office that deals with your claim.

I also received my !B to ESA decision yesterday mine was following face to face 'assessment' with ATOS back on 17th January 2013 and I have been placed in the support group ---- very relieved and a big thank you to B & W, all the moderators, Steve and Holiday for putting all the guides together. this forum and my G P.
I rang DWP this morning as no date for reassessment on my letter and have been granted support group status for 36 months from 17th January---- I have requested a copy of the ATOS 'medical' report so we'll see how long that takes to arrive.
I have been a member of B & W for 5 years :P :P

Hi s,

That is Great News !!! :woohoo:

3 years is the longest prognosis that we are aware of.

Thank you for your kind comments regarding all at B&W.

Thanks also for your long standing, continuing support. :)
