Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I am afraid the time limit is finite, no account is taken of your condition or any prognosis.
As I said in my previous post, if you believe you will be subject to the limit, then the only way you will be able to confirm this is by contacting the DWP.
Just so you are aware, you are not restricted from asking for a SuperSession on your claim as long as you remain eligible for ESA, even when you are not entitled to payment.

Hi Gordon,
Is there a Typo in the last line of your post above ?, should it read "even when you are NOT entitled to payment" ?
Cheers.

Hi SasaC
I posted on here last week on behalf of another member, he was in the support group, then moved to wrag, was only informed about this 2 weeks after his benefit had ceased. He had already used up his 365 days as was in wrag before his move to SG.So his CB wrag had been used up He has contacted his MP who is going to take up his case.
Good luck

As a follow up....
Eventually getting through to DWP. It would seem that they thought I had appealed last September. Passed from pillar to post I just accepted their apology for dragging everything out for almost a year. DWP said that rather than drag everything up all over again, they will put me into the support group
Not indefinite, just 6 months, then I will have a medical and take it from there. Looks like I am being compensated and anything owed backdated to last September as they couldn't find my correspondence. They have no idea which department I have been lost in!
I won't argue with that. It saves me going through the trauma of appealing and will give me more time at least to get over my 2 recent operations before I undergo the next.
Thanks for all the help on this group.
