I got a letter today saying that they have looked at my claim again and have decided that not only am I eligible for ESA but that I am eligible to be in the support group. And that I am getting over £900 in backpay!

I am a bit disappointed if I am honest as I wanted to be in the WRAG group... but for now I will accept the support group assessment. I am interested to know how they came to the decision though, like where I have ow been awarded points and stuff... is there a way for me to find this out?

still got DLA appeal to go, but this is the first piece of good news in months so I am happy right now :D

Congratulations on your result.

You can request the documentation from the DWP by phone, although I would follow it up with a letter. I think you probably want to request the LT54, see

ESA Forms

and

ESA medical – what forms to ask for?

Congratulations. Don't forget that you can volunteer for Work Focussed Interviews if you wish, even though you are in the Support Group.
