I am going to an ESA appeal and like your daughter I was awarded 0 points. I would be grateful if you could tell me how you managed to get 18 points.

Anthony

You need to show to the Tribunal that you meet the sufficient of the ESA Descriptors to be placed in the WRAG (15 points), or one or more of the Support Group criteria.

You have yet again dug up a post from years ago to reply to, you are making it very difficult to provide with support if you continue to post all over the forum.

Your post suggests that you made a claim for Contribution Based ESA, for this to be accepted you would need to have worked throughout the Tax years 2014-15 and 2015-16, did you?

If you are not eligible for ESA(CB) you can make a claim for Income Related providing you can meet the required means test. ESA(IR) is dependant on your household income, your savings and assets, and any hours that your partner works. See

Asset rule for ESA(IR)

24 hour work rule for ESA(IR)

It is an option on the ESA1 whether you apply for ESA(CB) only or ESA(CB) and ESA(IR).
