Thankyou all, It is a load of my mind too true, I have always had the faith that with the proper information sent to support my migration no other outcome would be possible, my mistake was not stressing enough my inability to mobilise 50 mtrs, please remember not being able to walk is now not enough, you also have to show you could not use a wheelchair.

I also have to point out I did not send loads of paperwork, my pack consisted of esa50, supporting gp letter and list of meds.

I strongly feel if you are entitled you will get.

Many thanks for that last post, Lester. I was worried that not having loads of paperwork or hospital consultants letters (because they've said there's nothing more they can do for me)would count against me.
Congratulations on winning your appeal!

  			 				Hi,

I'm not wishing to put a dampener on Lester's good news, as I am obviously pleased that he gained Support Group status at reconsideration.

However as he rightly points out, the most important issue is to prove that a claimant's limitations resulting from their conditions meet the criteria of the relevant descriptors, or indeed the exceptional circumstances.

It is not really possible to make comparisons between the success or failure of one claimant and another.

Even if they apparently suffer with the same conditions and resulting limitations, and provide very similar evidence.

Personally, I feel that providing as much "Relevant" evidence as you can, and using this evidence to prove that you meet the criteria of the descriptors, can only enhance your chances of a successful award.

Of course a claimant can only provide as much evidence as they have access to.

Only my opinion of course, but this is why the ESA Guides on B & W are so helpful, as they explain the best way to do just that.

cheers

Excellent news. Obviously you provided enough info and they had to agree. I do think though that some decision makers may not always play it the same way and that's the worry for all of us.
