Atos Medical - Complaint

If only every claimant who was dissatisfied with the way they were treated at the medical or the accuracy of the medical report lodged an official complaint. I think Atos would have to work a lot harder for their contract.

How true. How very true.

Problem is that you (the claimant) are already well stressed by the whole ESA / DLA process on top of being ill / disabled. So it's daunting to consider adding EXTRA stress by putting in a complaint.

Those who do complain to ATOS must be the TIP OF THE TIP of the iceberg!

That's a good point Andy. It can take a whole month to work on your appeal by which time you are knackered!

Perhaps we should have pre-printed complaints and just cross-out the rules that Atos didn't break.

Funny you should mention sour grapes as that is just what I said to the friend that escorted me there. He was worried about it affecting my score and I said that is exactly why I have to do it before the "brown envelope" arrives.

Yes, I have written up the entire afternoon and will select out pertinent sections which I will email to Atos tomorrow. CrazyDiamond provided me with the email address.

I thank you for all your advice. I found the afternoon harrowing from start to finish. I also wanted to kick myself at the end I was doing things physically that I shouldn't have, such at pull one knee up to my chest (well, it really wouldn't go that far) when I have total hip replacement which were put in from the rear. I WAS WARNED by the surgeon to never do such a thing...Madness. I could kick myself for not pointing that ridiculous request out. But after 3 hours, I was out...
