Won my Tribunal Appeal was created by denni
Big thank you to you all for helping me win my Appeal. The help i have gained from you helped me prepare for my appeal. I have had 10 months of stress & worry over this appeal, but thank goodness it is all over.I was in the Tribunal Room for less than 5 minuets and the Judge & Doctor present were very nice indeed, so all those that are waiting for their appeals try not to worry and for those that are thinking about Appealing DO IT.Once again big thankyou to this site for helping me. xxx

Hi Denni, congratulations!

Was this for your ESA?

Best wishes,
Rachel :)

Well done on winning your appeal.

Out of interest, was the appeal for IB or ESA?

Thats great news and very encouraging,
This is the first time I have commented on the site, I just tend to search for information that may help. I too have been waiting since last august to face an appeal tribunal against my allocated low care component and I finally have my date i.e. 24th May. I am appealing against only being allocated low care as I definitely receive and need more help from my partner than they have acknowledged (I have been granted high mobility and low care)
I seem to be hitting obstacles in every direction that I turn to for help and now my GP whom I was relying on to provide me with back up evidence of all my numerous problems has left the practice suddenly so im now faced with a GP tomorrow who knows absolutely nothing about me..arrrggghh ! Once this tribunal is over and hopefully granted in my favour I shall have to start over again to appeal against their stupid decision to have me in the ESA W.R Group, even though for the past 2 appointments with AFE they have deferred me each time for 6 months as they cannot help me. Its ridiculous, all the stress and anxiety disabled people have to go through, I can well understand why many people give up trying to jump all the obstacles.
Once again - congratulations on your success, any advice you can give me would be very welcome.

Hi Annie thankyou. Yes i am so happy i won my appeal. Thanks mainley to this site. The only advise i can give is be well prepared with your paper work & support letters from your GP. Make sure you have photo copies of your paperwork as they seem to get lost somehow. I went through 10 months of stress & ended up in a psychiatric unit for 5 months with 5 admisssions. Still not good but taking one day at a time. I wish you good luck with your appeal and do let us know how you went on.
