Following on from the link above, I'm wondering if there is now some clarity? When I read the document, my brain just seemed to 'freeze' with information overload.
I currently recieve IS (Single not less than 25 yrs old)
Because you are sick or disabled (IS Disability Premium)
Because you are severely disabled (Severe Disability PREMIUM
Becasue of the Disability Income guarantee (Enhanced Disability Premium)
My question are a)Will I be migrated as one of the 'last' because I'm on SDP.....the same as those on SDA.
b) What is the actual difference between SDA and SDP...i've never really understood it.
c) I'm coming up to my 60th birthday in May this year, having not worked since the mid-1990's. With some luck i'll reach retirement age before they uprate to age 66 as retirement...but i'm also on HRC and HRM. If I have to go through this ATOS farce, it seems likely I may lose my HRM and this would affect entitlement to a mobility car except thru appealing again and again..but will PIP be installed before I reach 65 and lose the car anyway?
Following the threads daily in both forums..you guys n als do an AMAZING job..Kudos to each and everyone of you..

I cannot comment on your query regarding your DLA/PIP. Someone with more knowledge than I possess needs to respond.

No, but you probably will because you are receiving IS because of ill health.a)Will I be migrated as one of the 'last' because I'm on SDP.....the same as those on SDA.
San100 has explained this very well, the only thing to add is that you would still be eligible for SDP after the transfer.b) What is the actual difference between SDA and SDP...i've never really understood it.
There really isn't enough info with regard to PIP to say. Given the timescales to implementation and the likely time to transfer DLA claimants, you're probably OK, but that is just an educated guess.c) I'm coming up to my 60th birthday in May this year, having not worked since the mid-1990's.
