Well, despite forgetting all the things from B&W that I meant to say in my medical (my 12 or 18 month one, thought it was going to be the "moving onto ESA one, but I've been spared that for now) I passed, won, kept my benefits.
The assessor seemed very sympathetic about chronic fatigue/M.E./fibromyalgia and sometimes it even seemed like she was answering the questions for me. Weird!
Was expecting the Spanish Inquisition (cue mass Python quoting), but it all went so painlessly I though it had to have been a ruse to make me spill the beans about my secret life as a mountain climbing, marathon-running paratrooper, but no... 2 weeks later, and I've scored enough points to remain on IB!
Ironically, being found not fit for work means I can continue with my part time voluntary work -> part time permitted work plan. Dread to think what I would've done if I'd been dumped onto JSA.
What a weird, nonsensical system.
So - genuinely ill people CAN win their medical assessments!
Good luck to everyone awaiting a decision or an upcoming medical.
