successful application - I think! was created by Wendyinfp
I've just looked in my bank account to see a large payment in. It isn't child tax credit and it is the exact amount it would be for 8 weeks of middle rate care and lower rate mobility. I think my DLA claim has been successful at the first attempt! That is completely down to this site and the guide I downloaded.

My psychiatrist must have been really quick providing them with further info as I only got the letter saying they'd asked for more info 10 days ago.

I'm waiting for the postie to arrive now so I can confirm what I think has happened. It is such a relief. Yesterday we couldn't put fuel in the car - today we can.

Thank you web site makers!

  			 				Hi Wendy

I hope you are right. Your bank statement should give some indication of where the payment came from.

Our statement doesn't show that - it never does. Apart from the amounts we can't tell the difference between child tax, child benefit and housing benefit - but it is the wrong amount and wrong week for any of them.

I wish the postie would hurry up!

The postie came with no letter so I phoned them up. I have been awarded middle rate care and lower rate mobility on an indefinate basis (til DLA is scrapped and I'm reassessed for PIP). I am so, so, so, so, relieved.
