  			 				Hi

We work for Shelter Cymru's Valleys Inclusion Project in Wales. We provide support to client households who have been accused of anti-social behaviour, our aim being to address the underlying causes of the behaviour with clients and to reduce ASB and prevent eviction and exclusion.

We began subscribing to Benefits and Work a few months ago. The information on your website, especially the guidance notes on appealing ESA decisons and preparing a case for appeal, was very helpful indeed when we recently represented a client of ours at an ESA appeal tribunal.

Our client, a young man aged 19 with anxiety, depression and panic attacks, was on medication and had spent periods of time homeless, but was now a housing association tenant, and had been awarded 6 points and assessed as capable for work following a DWP medical examination.

At appeal the tribunal increased his points total to 18, much to his relief. We hope that in time his health will improve sufficiently for him to restart a college course and achieve his goals in life.

Thanks very much for your assistance.

Hi Andrew, Natalia, Ceridwen & Alexis,

Congratulations on your success with your client and thank you for letting us know. It's heartening to hear from people using the site in connection with their work - we know many people do, we just seldom hear from them.

And good luck with your inclusion project- it sounds like you manage to make a positive difference to the lives of people who are all too easily written off and demonised.

  			 				Congratulations on your appeal.

Yet again the incompetence of ATOS shines through.

when will someone do something about this?

well done, Lisa
