Dear Members
I'm asking this queation on behalf of a family member, they recieved a letter in November last to say that thier DLA was beening reviewed, they noticed that no payment for December was made to thier account, when she phoned to ask why payment was not made, she was told over the phone that she had lost her DLA, the question is, on what grounds would she have lost her DLA, without having a medicial or been notified by letter, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

She should have had a letter notifying her of the decision. You can't know the grounds without a copy of the decision.

It may turn out to be a simple error or it may be something more serious and without asking, you won't know.

I'd say ask in writing for a copy of the decision and if it's something we can help explain, we'll do our best.
