Hi lisa, ESA and DLA are different benefits with different qualifying criteria. ESA is testing your ability for work. Whilst DLA is for your Mobility and Care needs. Please get face to face advice from a welfare rights officer or your local CAB. Also look at all the guides on this site regarding ESA. Best Wishes.

Can somebody please describe a condition where somebody might be eligible for high rate care and mobility, but not eligible to receive ESA?
It does not make any sense to me.
I thought ESA was invented to support people with functional difficulties to access work.
Lisa - i am sorry you are being subjected to all this.
Am i missing something?
Best wishes
