DLA award given, but no time scale mentioned

I have read the letter telling me I have been awarded HRC and HRM at least a dozen times but I can't find any mention as to how long the award is for. Going by the posts of other members, it seems that it is usually for a year or even three years. I know that some have had an unlimited time award, but I thought that the letter would say which you have been given.

Leaving aside the fact that it can be reviewed at any time by the DWP, should I assume that I have an indefinite award?

Hope someone here can help as I do not want to contact them about it (leaving sleeping dogs alone and all that)

Thanks
Robert

Hi Robert,

If no time limit has been given for the award then it is most likely to be an unlimited one.

Good luck,

Steve
