Regarding previous owner of my home was created by Fleur33
Just wondering if I will now be investigated, due to reporting someone claiming benefit and using my address? I am so worried I am not able to sleep. I do not want to lose my DLA it was so hard to get and I was so happy at having a five year award. Should I get a copy of the letter that I received for the previous owner and forward that, but then to who would I send it? I will be so grateful for any advice.
Thanks

Hi Jude,
The DWP get literally tens of thousands of calls about benefit fraud every year and only a tiny proportion of the alleged fraudsters get investigated, let alone the people who report them.
The DWP have no reason at all to want to investigate you.

That is why the TV advertisments are a total sham.
