Hi Rappa,

The basic rule is that if there has been a change in your circumstances which may affect your entitlement then you should inform the DWP. If the continence issues are new then yes, you should inform the DWP.

Good luck,

Steve

Hi Rappa
I also had my ESA medical in Oct 2009 and still waiting.I reached 60 in December and so I am now on State Retirement Pension. Either they've got one hell of a backlog or I've just been dumped as I don't get ESA now anyway. They still should have let me know the outcome of the medical regardless of my current status, but then nothing ever shocks or surprises me these days!
I hope you get your results soon.
Kind regards
Bella :)

Hi Bella, thanks for that, I was due to get off ESA this year and on to p/credit but as they have moved the ladies pension goal posts up 1 year and me as well ( men born after april 1950)me december, I will have to wait until 2011 age 61.( i can claim from july 2011) so probably if i get turned down and appeal ( 6 months) and have to go on jsa ( 6months) i will just scrape through to dec 2011, what a carry on, after going to work since 1965 you would think you would be treated decently!what am in talking about, I will put less water with it tonight! all the best.

Hi, I have just( today) had my ESA stopped I only scored 9 points on finger dexterity. this is wrong as i cant bend etc. I will appeal straight away, but I have just sent the DWP copies of tests etc for incontinence . this would score 6 points itself. will this information go forward to appeal and possibly overturn it!. many thanks.
