Confused which WCA guide to follow 🤔 was created by Sum
We have appt on thursday with HAAS for sons WCA.
Thought i would read the guides to help prepare. There are two links to guides titled 'Best Possible ESA and UC Claims: a guide to the work capability assessment. (for claims from/prior 6 April 2026)
This is a fully comprehensive guide to the assessment procedure on physical, mental health and learning difficulties grounds for employment & support allowance and universal credit. Use this guide if you began your claim before 6 April 2026.'
If we completed a UC50 form , NOT WCA50, which guide should i look at ? we posted it to DWP in Dec 2025

UC50 and WCA50 form is exactly the same, the new guide is to help new claimants with all the changes coming in this April.
