other people who live with you on UC claim form was created by worriedmum
Please help , I am so worried I have got this wrong.
I have just filled in the online Universal credit form for my adult daughter with LD . she is migrating from ESA support group.
she is single with no children, so that bit was easy . But she still lives with us her parents in our house. so when i got to the part that says other people that live with you, should i have put me and her dad. its just that we dont live with her, she lives with us in our home. she doesn't claim for any housing costs because she doesn't have any . Mencap told me that i didnt need to put parents down as other people living with her but now im not sure . Please help.
P.S if i have got it wrong , how do i put it right?

Mencap are correct and she doesn't need to report that you are part of her household. She is a single person without a partner or children.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply ., so i dont need to add her parents (us)in any part of the UC form ? even where it says other people who live with you? it says list every person who lives in your home . well its not her home its ours and then it askes if this adult is living in her home right now . it talks like we are living in her home , not the other way around. i just need to be sure that i shouldnt have added me and her dad . i am her appointee carer and mum. sorry for my confusion.

No you don't have to add yourself and her dad. Her situation is analogous to a lodger living in a room in your home.
