I had to apply for managed migration UC before Saturday. I was getting ESA LCWRA Support group and SDP i was told by my housing association benefits advisor to wait until my ESA payment cleared my bank today and apply for UC. I applued this evening for UC. Now I am reading people say wait until the day after...
Why is it better to apply the day after? Does it make a difference? I applied after 6pm tonight. Have I made a big mistake?
As long as your ESA money has hit your bank account a/c then there is no problem. If claimants apply for UC before they get paid then they run the gauntlet of a missed ESA payment.
