yes, i'm in the support group (EESA). Earlier in the year i had a review of pip awarded again awarded enhanced mobility and daily living payment for 4 yrs. Recently completed esa migration to uc migration, closed my claim due to "savings and investments". i stated that i had about £400 in saving accounts and just over £5000 in current account. I also jointly own a property with my brother, which he does not wish to sell and due to my mental and phyiscal health i'm unable to deal with presently. I've asked for a written explanation for closing my claim and will request a mandatory reconsideration.I would be grateful for advice moving forward with claim.

completed eesa to uc migration, my claim was closed due to "savings and investments". i have less than £400 in saving accounts and less than £5000 in current account. I jointly own a property with my brother, which he does wish to sell and due to mental health issues, acute depression, ocd, etc, and debilitating physical health health issues i have found it increasingly difficult to decide on matters regarding the property. I've requested a written explanation of the reason claim closed and will submit a mandatory reconsideration. I welcome your advice regarding my claim going forward.

Hi hywel
Your question is outside the remit of the forum, we would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk where they can take all your circumstances into consideration.
Do you know which type of ESA you were in receipt of?
PIP is ignored as it is not means tested.
