Posted posts not yet approved that need editing & the Online Safety Act

Normally I write online posts in Libre Office to double check my grammar & admittedly terrible spelling. But sometimes for short posts I don't bother. But as is the case that just happened I sent a reply without double checking it.

The thought occurred to me that as with other forums there should be a method to edit posts awaiting approval so that any omissions or grammatical & spelling errors can be amended.

Can the moderators look into this please?

Because of the online safety act and so many forums shutting down because of it's implementation already I think such a editing feature is especially important. There are now many things that could cause a breach or even the most minor offence to someone and that is all it takes to for Ofcom to open an investigation sadly.
