PIP changes terror was created by Glissando
I am 63 and have severe arthritis autism and am mentally ill. I am terrified about these benefit changes and I don't know what to do. I read these changes could start in weeks. I try to avoid news but this came up. I was just hoping I would have some time. But no.

I am on UC, contribution ESA and PIP.

I am in hell. Due to NHS cuts I get no mental illness support, nothing for autism.

I don't know what I am going to do.

  			 				Hi Glissandro

I know you are scared, as are many others, but you still need to try and avoid the news. There are many rumours about what is going to happen and when it's going to happen, but they are rumours and not facts. Steve will publish a newsletter as soon as there are specific government announcements. None of us have control over the timescale or what they will announce. The only thing we can try and control is our exposure to gossip - which you have clearly tried to do. Unfortunately, nothing I say can make things better for you. When there are some facts, you will be able to see if or how you may be affected and if you have questions at that point, we will try to answer where we can.

Do take care
