I have received the UC migration letter today, sent me into a tail spin. I used the cab chat service, … sheer brilliance. They spent around 45 mins guiding me through the procedure, they did a calculation for me too. Which stated I should remain on the same amount, they talked me though how to use the online journal.
They pointed me in the right direction re council tax and gave me a ref number in case I wanted to contact them again. They also told me how to raise a discrepancy with UC should I need to.
They worked out when best to claim and suggested waiting till after April when the benefits go up slightly before making a UC claim …
