Hello, I had my telephone assessment on 28th January and on 28th February i had a notice on my journal that i have been awarded LCWRA. Does anybody know how long the DWP take to sort out any back pay as I migrated from legacy benefits the beginning of September 2024 and submitted fitnotes straight away. How do they do it, do they redo each statement for each assessment period or do they just work it out and pay it in or do they notify you of how they calculate it, etc. Any advice or previous experiences from members would be most welcome. Hi. They will adjust any statements to which a backdate applies, and your statements will be adjusted going back showing a timeline of any change. Backdating will usual only go back to the first relevant assessment period after the three month waiting period from when you started to submit fit notes. Backdating in my experience is usually reasonably quick but if you have any queries post a message on your journal under "payments"
