Move to Universal Credit follow up discussion by phone. was created by busterchuck
  			 				Hi

I made my migration from ESA to UC and received on line letter saying i dont have to search for work or prepare for work as the decision remains that i have limited capability for work and work activity. That was in November.I now have a message in my journal that I have a Booked phone call for a follow up discussion about my move to Universal Credit.

Is this phone call anything to worry about?

Thanks!

  			 				Hi Busterchuck

We do not know your situation, what we would say is prepare yourself before the phone call about how your condition affects you, do not use grey words such as 'sometimes' or good days and bad days as they will ask you to put a number on it. if you have a fluctuating condition you may want to use 'bad days' and 'worse days'.

Claimants who transfer from legacy benefits over to LCWRA will be reviewed, as the pace picks up, reviews are getting quicker.

  			 				Hi busterchuck

One of the reason for the phone call for claimants previously on ESA, when you apply for UC it asks you if you were in receipt of ESA but does not ask you which group (WRAG or Support). The follow up call is to check which ESA group you were in, if you were in the support group, you will be placed in the LCWRA group.
