  			 				Hi David,

London Borough of Wandsworth. Is it worth sending a complaint to my local member of parliament?
It feels like I’m the exception for things going wrong with UC!

  			 				Hi Dan

So type out your complaint in the UC Journal for the attention of Dave Keogh, District Manager. When you have typed out the complaint in your UC Journal, from the drop down list choose Work Coach. Then you can copy and paste the same message and this time from the drop down list choose the option " A Payment". It is important to send the complaint twice as they have been known to get lost in the DWP pipework.

Yes it is worthwhile contacting your local MP as well. They can usually be sent emails.

Let me know how you get on.
David

  			 				Hi David,
Thanks for your response, unfortunately I made phone claim for universal credit and as such I cannot send a journal message to Dave keogh. Would it be possible to send him my correspondence by other means?

  			 				Hi David,
I haven’t managed to send an email to Dave as of yet, it has been seven weeks without any LCWRA or transitional protection money. With that in mind I received a letter from Universal Credit today stating that I’m only entitled to the standard allowance of Universal credit even though I was in the support group ESA. Obviously the letter said I could appeal if I disagreed with the decision which I do. In the appeal I will mention regulation 19-the letter didn’t give me the UC address where to send the appeal, I wondered if you know the address. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Give a full description of the issue and of errors by DWP staff and email it to Dave Keogh as I have indicated previously.
