Hi David,
It wasn’t Dave that covered my area. I sent the other person the information who covers my area. Unfortunately I haven’t heard anything from them.
I made a point of ringing ESA and asking them about my esa status and they confirmed that I was in the support group prior to migration. I think I will have to appeal my decision to award LCWRA-I think they are also trying to fetter my claim on purpose too.

Hi Dan
I expect where you live lies on the border between Dave Keogh and Olivia Hargadon's areas. Did you email Olivia ?

Hi David,
I did email Olivia but unfortunately I have yet to receive a response.
However I did receive a message from UC to call them, they told me that I’m entitled to Transitional protection but not LCWRA.
KR,
Dan

Hi Dan
Hopefully the delay in sorting this out is because you have a phone only UC claim and they don't have the systems in place to communicate. I would expect you to receive a lot in the post soon. This is the DWP internal guidance on a Telephone Only UC claim-
Maintaining the claim
Claimants should be supported to move their claim online if appropriate because
of the advantages this provides.
The reason for the claim being made by phone will be recorded by the agent who
takes the initial call from the claimant and will be shown in the claimant history to
assist with tailoring claimant support appropriately.
Any notifications or notes must still be placed in the journal as normal but in
addition the agent will have to consider what other methods of contact to use. This
also applies to claimant to-dos.
All notifications added to the claimant’s journal should be posted to the claimant.
This is so that they can take any required action and are made aware of when they
have appeal rights against a decision.
The monthly award statement must be posted to the claimant. To prompt this
action a ‘Print and post statement’ to-do will be generated when the statement is
produced. This will be located in the ‘payments due’ section of the agent
dashboard.
Let me know how you get on.

Hi David,
I have yet to receive a reply from Olivia. Universal Credit have unfortunately not sorted my LCWRA element out yet, they have also sent me a UC50 form to fill in, however I thought I didn’t have to fill that in as I was moving from the ESA support group. I have read a bit of your fully comprehensive guide on migration and was wondering if I should appeal quoting reg 19-do I have to fill in that UC50 form even though I have moved from the support group esa?

Hi David,
Sorry I meant mandatory reconsideration(regarding reg 19). Regarding the latter is it worth sending in a mandatory reconsideration regarding the LCWRA?
Regards,
Dan
