Hi David Sorry to jump onto this thread. However, I am in the exact same situation, I have my telephone interview next week. Following on from your advice David that you do not have to discuss your health problems with them, will this jeopardise my claim in any way if I only confirm that I am in the support group? I was informed by ESA that only income based ESA would change to new-style, contribution-based only, will remain the same.
As you are in the Support Group, during the interview you can refuse to discuss your health or any medical matter, also to discuss looking for work or preparing for employment in the future.
Hope this helps. David
