PIP Renewal Success was created by Pandora65
Just wanted to thank the moderators and members for their advice in getting a successful PIP renewal. The guidance to complete the renewal form with as much detail as my original application i'm sure resulted in a double enhanced reward for an ongoing period. This will take me to post State Retirement and hopefully a 'light touch' in the future. The whole process to just over a year from sending back the forms and evidence. I re-sent some of the original evidence along with newer supportive information. The decision was made in-house by the DWP using just my form and evidence. I did not have an assessment or even a phone call. I think the DWP are minded to do renewals themselves as long as you have some good evidence, use the PIP Guide and understand the terminology and how to use it.
Please keep up with the help. I've got my son's UC migration notice to tackle next and will be using the guides failthfully.

Congratulations on being successful.
I wish I could be granted an ongoing award at my next assessment.
I will be 63 and therefor close to retirement age.
