ESA to UC Migration was created by pd
Hi there.

I just wanted to update members of a positive migration of ESA to UC. I received migration letter 2nd Oct. Followed id check and answered questions when opening online account. Within 3 days local jobcentre contacted me checked my Id and had phone appointment within 1 week. I added a brief note about my disability before any call which speeded up the process. The guy very nice and explained set up and said I was verified. Left note on his PCand I was placed in ESA support group. No sick note needed and never discussed. I had call back within 10 days and told me all my details have now migrated with me and Uc claim set up.. About three weeks ago a lady called and very helpful explain about NSESA and UC. I claimed NSESA with her by phone. Claiming commitment. This lady actually told me that the form or template was not fit for purpose and still the old format so had to type around or above template boxes. Warned about prescriptions etc. Five days later received copy of new ESA form. Shows support group I'm in. and form filled in.

During the whole term I still received old esa every fortnight and no gaps inbetween. First statement was produced last Friday and showed clarity about payments and deductions. . Today I received first new style esa payment all correct. Tomorrow I receive monthly UC payment which tops up my amount. So Esa fortnight and UC monthly. Thank you so much for the guides on here otherwise stress would rocket. I wanted to share this experience to show it can work. By the way I. Single but get PIP but no children or tax credits so my claim was more simplified.

However my PIP review is in a backlog but continue to receive payment!
