UC migrations Question re ID was created by j112009
What does the dwp mean by Credit references on the verifying your id part of the application form? We have a P60 but no passport driving licence etc. Do you have to put down a credit card on the form would that be correct along with the P60? I am confused about this and would appreciate any help. I have seen people in your news section say a Debit card but the video and info on the advert don't say Debit card.

Hi j112009,
I have found the guidance you are alluding to --
"Evidence for online verification
You can verify your identity online by providing some information that only you would know, for example information about your passport or payslips.
You can use any 2 of the following items to verify your identity online:
payslips dated within the last 3 months
most recent P60
valid UK passport
recent Self Assessment returns
tax credits (including Voice ID)
credit references or records – for example, information about credit cards or phone contracts
If you successfully verify your identity online, you may not need the full ‘initial evidence interview’.
I have not used the new UC online ID verification service. Maybe other members would be happy to share their experiences.
