ESA SG ressasment after many years was created by dannyufcfan
Hello, I'm I correct that there is no way to know if or when your ESA SG will be reassessed? It's been many years and I'm just wondering if i'm due or will ever be assessed again?

Also, on the same topic I'm I correct that I'm probably on a 36 month review? So, at that 'review' I take it my case is looked at each time and it's decided that I should stay on the benefit without contacting me about result?

Thank you for any help.

Hi dannyufcfan

The only way to know is to ring the DWP and ask -however, if you do that - there is always a risk that they may think you want a review!

If you'd had a review - they would have informed you. There are many people in the same position as you who haven't had a review for years because of the backlog. Quite a few members of B&W have reported suddenly being sent a review form after seven or ten years.

Sorry, not sure if my last reply got through. So, besides calling up there is bascailly no way to know when or if it will happen despite how long it's been?

Hi dannyufcfan

The only way you can find out when or if your are going to have a review is to ring the DWP. Award lengths are typically 1, 2 or 3 years. Many people have gone way past the three years because of the backlog.
