PIP renewal post tribunal was created by Mrs Flute
Hi all,
I am currently receiving standard mobility and daily living after having gone to tribunal in March 2023. Previously I was on standard mobility.

The tribunal made the award until October 2026 - but with a caveat that DWP would contact me after May 2024 to see if my condition had changed.

I am unsure what to include as I have no new medical information - should I include a copy of the tribunal's decision and all the previous evidence I sent in? Would it be an idea for my husband, who is my carer, to include a statement?

I have relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis and although my condition remains stable, my ability to do the most basic things has gone (hence submitting a change of circumstances form in 2021 when I was recovering from Covid).

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Many thanks
Mrs Flute

Hi Mrs Flute

You don't need to send in information that you previously submitted, though you can always refer to it. I would include the tribunal's decision (as long as you agree with what was said) and a letter from your husband, making it clear what he has to do (against the specific PIP questions) and highlighting where your condition has deteriorated.

Make sure that you take a look at the advice on reviews in the Guide to PIP Claims and Reviews - (page 128 onwards)
