Old Style ESA was created by Brian1888
I received letter about changes to Social Security Benefits and the amounts I will receive..
I am in Support Group, single and live on my own..Also received PIP.
Letter states amounts apply from 10th April 2024 till 26th November 2024.
I was wondering why only till 26th November 2024?
Could this be when they are reviewing my ESA or perhaps migrating to UC ?
Thanks in advance.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

No, it is much simpler than that, it is connected to the payment of the Christmas Bonus.

Thanks Gordon for info.
I was also reading in newspaper earlier that claimants who are in receipt of ESA and Housing Benefit won't be migrating over to UC until 2028.
Newspaper seemed to be quoting from a recent ministerial statement.
What's your views and have you read similar ?
Thanks Again

Hi Brian
I believe what you have read is incorrect from the latest information I have recently read.

Thanks Chris.
I have found article in DWP Touch base Newsletter of January 2024.
Jo Churchill was the DWP minister.
Hopefully link works.

Brian1888, your link above does not mention claimants in receipt of ESA and Housing Benefit won't be migrating to UC until 2028.
However i think i did see something here at B & W about ( iR ESA & HB to UC in 2028 ) a few days back, cant be certain.
