pip tribunal was created by Olive

Hi

If you appeal to the tribunal (about pip):-

1) do you HAVE to phone dwp and tell them you are going to tribunal ?

or

2) can you just post your SSCS1 form + evidence to HMCTS, and NOT have to phone dwp at all?

Hi Olive

You just need to post your appeal to HMCTS or you can appeal on line. If you prefer to use the post you may find the form SSCS1 useful; www.gov.uk/government/publications/appea...-decision-form-sscs1

If you do send in your appeal by post, make sure you send it by recorded delivery.

When you make an appeal either by post or online, HMCTS will send a copy of your appeal to the DWP, they will then send you and HMCTS a bundle of documents.
